After twelve years at Michigan Radio, I am stepping down from my position as Director of Corporate Support. While I would love to stay “in the game,” it is time for me to hand off the reins and return to my home and family in Portland, Oregon.
Over my 30-year fundraising career, I have had the privilege of working with some fabulous people at public broadcast stations around the country- and at NPR and PBS. These extraordinary individuals and the opportunities I have had the honor of being associated with will always remain close to my heart.
As I wrap things up, it is hard to say goodbye to the wonderful team of talented people here at Michigan Radio. Most especially to the Corporate Support team, which is the best I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Their unflagging commitment to making every sponsor relationship the best it can be never fails to inspire me.
I am very pleased to welcome Holli Eaton as our new Director of Corporate Support. She is taking on her new responsibilities with great energy and enthusiasm. In addition to her wealth of talent and experience, Holli’s generous spirit and intuitive intellect is sure to inspire and endear her to all those who are fortunate to meet and work with her.
I encourage you to reach out to Holli in the coming weeks and welcome her. I promise you will be glad you did.
Finally, I would like to express my deep appreciation to all who have contributed to the financial vitality of Michigan Radio and public broadcasting stations across this country.
Your financial support has a greater impact than you might imagine on the state of public service journalism and the communities of people who rely on fact-based news.
On behalf of all my public broadcast colleagues, Thank You!
With warmest regards,
Retiring Director Corporate Support
